The Heart Chakra is where we combat gravity head on. Gravity naturally keeps pulling us down, flexing back into the fetal position. To balance this out, we need to work the opposite action and extend our bodies. Backbands open the heart and leave us vulnerable and open to love and the universe. The heart chakra allows us to give and receive.

Affirmations: I nurture my inner child and love myself. Things are in balance as they are and I accept that. I love and am completely connected with the earth and all of its inhabitants. I am at one with nature. My physical and spiritual selves are fully connected. I can resolve the challenges presented to me every day. I have so much to be grateful for.
