Mama Earth Massage was honored to provide complimentary massage therapy at Riot Fest from 2019 through 2022 in Chicago’s Douglas Park. Our presence in two premium areas of the festival as well as backstage at Artist World brought welcome challenges and learning opportunities every year! Staffing for an event of this size, as well as maintaining an environment allowing our group of licensed massage therapists to practice in reasonable comfort was a challenge. A pop-up spa at Riot Fest was a remarkable feat to accomplish each year amidst the chaos, wind, heat, and whatever else. The energy was unbeatable, the friendships were genuine, the music was great, the Riot Fest staff, artists, and guests were beyond accommodating. This was a huge undertaking!
Ultimate / Deluxe Experience Tents
Ultimate or Deluxe Experience tickets at Riot Fest are worth it for the the amenities offered and time you save avoiding long lines . Snacks, open bar, prime viewing stages, shaded lounges with seating. Mama Earth Massage kept a team of multiple licensed massage therapists providing complimentary table or chair massage available. Our tent and presence increased every year. We could have always used another massage therapist though, we were super popular! The photos below are from 2019. Artist World
Artists performing at Riot Fest and their crew received complimentary massage therapy from Mama Earth backstage in the Artist World area. VIP Riot Fest Attendees were provided with complimentary chair or table massage at our tent in their exclusive viewing areas. Again – these photos are from our first year at Riot Fest. The tents improved over the years and new photos will be uploaded soon!
